Welcome to vetro.io, (the “Site”), home of VETRO FiberMap® owned by VETRO, Inc. (“VETRO”). The following sets forth VETRO’s Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”), which is also incorporated into the VETRO Terms of Service (the “Terms”) at https://vetrofibermap.com/terms-of-service/.

This Privacy Policy (sometimes, simply “Policy”) describes the policies and practices of VETRO, Inc. (“we” or “us”) on the collection, use and disclosure of your information when Customers use the (“Site” or “VETRO”). We will not use or share Customers’ information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy. Capitalized terms that are not defined in this Privacy Policy have the meaning given them in our Terms of Service for VETRO.

The Purpose of the Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. Accordingly, we provide this Privacy Policy so that you understand how we treat the information that you provide and/or that is automatically provided to us as a result of system integration-related data feeds (we call this information “Collected Information,” as described below). This Privacy Policy also explains the steps we have taken to secure Collected Information. By using or accessing the Site, you agree to be bound by our Terms of Service for VETRO. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices on any third party websites that may be linked to, or from the Site.

Applicability and Revisions

This Privacy Policy applies only to information collected via the Site and does not apply to information collected offline (for example, via phone calls and/or fax orders), nor does it cover information collected via www.vetrofibermap.com, which is covered under that site’s privacy policy. We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time. Such changes, modifications, additions or deletions shall be effective immediately upon notice thereof, which may be given by means including, but not limited to, issuing an email to the email address listed by registered users and/or posting the revised Policy. It is your responsibility to review this Site and this Policy periodically and to be aware of any modifications. Your continued use of the Site after such modifications will constitute your acknowledgment of the modified Privacy Policy and agreement to abide by it.

How We Collect Information

We collect information in these ways:

User Provided Information at the account level; Users will be prompted to provide us with certain personal information upon establishing an account. We may use this information to deliver services to you, for billing purposes and fulfilling your orders, as applicable, and communicating with you about the Site and other offerings, and for marketing purposes.

‘DemandGen’ prospect entered data; Customers using a customer-facing public lead generation and qualification website will be collecting name, address, and contact information from interested customers. This data may be collected in a 3rd party system and later streamed into VETRO for analysis, or may be fed directly into a private VETRO database.

Public input; Customers who seek input from public users via sharing a URL may be collecting name, address, and contact information from members of the public who interact with the website and decide to share information. This data may be collected in a 3rd party system and later streamed into VETRO for analysis, or may be fed directly into a private VETRO database.

Customer Information; Data on customer locations, names, addresses, contact information, and services and billing related details may be streamed into VETRO or housed in VETRO and synched with 3rd party systems in use by the VETRO customer.

We refer to all of the information described in this section as “Collected Information.”

How We Use Collected Information

We collect, store and serve Collected Information to enable us to operate the Site, including planning and analysis and service delivery where customer details are pertinent to such operations.

We will never utilize a VETRO customer’s private customer information for our own purposes, except as expressly described in this Privacy Policy or in the VETRO Terms.

In the event we use your email address to communicate with you, we will provide you with the option to unsubscribe or opt out of future emails.

How We Disclose Collected Information to Others

We will not sell, rent, trade, license or otherwise disclose Collected Information to any third parties who are not expressly involved with delivering the Service, or in a manner inconsistent with the Terms. Collected Information may be also be shared with other third parties, such as:

  • To third parties that we work with to develop and provide the Site;
  • To provide payment-related information to financial services and credit card processing companies in order to process subscriptions and orders requiring payment;
  • Possibly to disclose such information in response to a legal process, order or investigation (for example, a subpoena or court order);
  • Possibly to disclose where necessary to protect our legal or business rights or interests or to protect others (for example, in order to reduce the risk of fraud or illegal activities); and

Our Security Measures

The Site incorporates physical, electronic, and administrative procedures to safeguard the confidentiality of the Collected Information.  All data is encrypted in transit into the Site and encrypted at rest. VETRO utilizes only cloud infrastructure serviced by premier cloud service providers, no physical or in-house infrastructure is used. Furthermore, we rely on third-party service providers for the physical security of some of our computer hardware. While we believe that we use reasonable efforts to safeguard the Collected Information, as is the case with all websites, we cannot guarantee complete security.

Disputes

This Privacy Policy is governed by the internal substantive laws of the State of Maine, without respect to conflict of laws principles. All disputes shall be resolved as described in VETRO’s Terms.
