Bradley Hemphill, a longtime VETRO FiberMap user and telecom industry veteran, brings global strategy and deep technical acumen to VETRO FiberMap’s growing team.
Portland, Maine, US and Cape Town, South Africa – Digital infrastructure engineer and strategist Bradley Hemphill has joined VETRO FiberMap in the role of Senior Solutions Director – Africa. Based in Stellenbosch, South Africa near Cape Town, Hemphill is an accredited fiber optic network designer, a data center professional and a registered Professional Engineer.
With VETRO FiberMap’s global customers representing 30% of the company’s user base and growing, the company is seizing the opportunity to add a uniquely talented industry expert. Hemphill, with deep local market knowledge and experience building fiber networks in Africa, will manage VETRO FiberMap sales and client services throughout the African continent from the economic hub of Cape Town.

As a strategist, I advise on digital infrastructure assets and rationale for developing, owning and maintaining fiber optic assets to maximize value,” says Hemphill. As a former customer, user, and integrator of VETRO FiberMap in his role as Chief Technology Officer of multiple African companies, Hemphill brings an unmatched insider’s perspective on the platform’s use cases and deployment in the fiber optic network management space.
