Serving western Wisconsin since 1938, PPCS has long been in the business of connecting its rural and underserved populations to the modern era. Providing safe, reliable electrical utilities for the better part of 85 years, PPCS is staying ahead of the curve, offering its network of nearly 7,000 members high-speed broadband access in its area.
In 2021, Piece Pepin formed a wholly owned subsidiary SwiftCurrent Connect, to meet the evolving broadband needs in Pierce, Pepin, and St. Croix Counties. In this age of remote work and information sharing, high-speed internet access has never been more crucial to the everyday American. Leveraging VETRO’s purpose-built fiber management platform, seamless software integrations, and wealth of industry expertise, SwiftCurrent Connect is poised to truly make a difference in the lives of its members. And, with a goal to connect every home that is currently without access to fiber and high-speed internet, their mission aligns perfectly with ours.
