The Network News: July 2023

The Network News is VETRO’s monthly roundup of resources, news, events and more.

Greetings from VETRO HQ! The Network News is VETRO’s roundup of resources, news, events and more. Let’s check out what’s new across the wide world of fiber!

June was a mighty month.  Last week the staggering $42.5 billion BEAD funding allocation was announced. Now that states know what funds they have, VETRO is positioned and ready to help providers plan, design, build and operate their networks which will bring much needed internet access to the unserved and underserved.  Let’s go build some fiber!

At VETRO, the largest event of June was the All Hands Summit. Our team of passionate professionals from all over came together in Portland, Maine to explore the latest trends, cutting-edge technologies and game-changing strategies in the world of fiber management. And we had a lot of fun doing it.

Together we witnessed firsthand the power of teamwork and the collective intelligence that drives us forward in revolutionizing the future of high-speed connectivity. I am so grateful to be a part of it, and wrote a debrief of the Summit here.

Our focus remains on building the best product in the space and delivering the most value to our customers.  Happy 4th and here’s to a Summer of fiber ahead!

Thank you!
